Neal grew up in Arlington, Virginia in a family of six, being the youngest of four children. He developed his love for gaming at a young age, but also developed other passions as he aged, including the natural world, cooking, and graphic design. Growing up he attended a small private high school and a technology-free summer camp, both of which gave him leadership and growth opportunities. Now a college graduate, Sweeney has worked to help provide experiences and opportunities for others through his work in school organizations, and hopes to continue doing so in the future.
